Staying on Track During the Holidays

The holidays will NOT be an obstacle for me because I have a plan!!!

1. Water. This is very important for me because when I'm not at home and in my regular routine, I tend to forget about my water intake. I must stay focused on getting my 80 oz in everyday.

2. Fitness. I plan to stick to my regular fitness routine throughout the holidays. I don't have many parties to attend so I don't anticipate having to skip a workout for a social event.

3. Stay active during the break. I'll be off for 3 weeks and when I'm at home all day, I tend to sit on my butt. Alot. My plan is to stay active by staying on top of my housework and taking the kiddos on outings

4. Nutrition. This shouldn't be difficult because I don't plan on attending any parties and my mother doesn't even celebrate Christmas. If I do end up at a party, alcohol intake will be minimal and I'll most likely eat before I get there. I do have a planned splurge which will be Christmas morning; cinnamon rolls, bacon and eggs. I have Fire 60 planned for that day so I'm sure I'll burn it off.

    Woo Hoo, great plan! Sounds like your biggest challenge will be staying active for the three weeks you are off. Check out your local newspaper every week for activities in your area that you can enjoy with your kids

    VERY sound plan!!! Work hard to keep that tush off of the couch for those 3 weeks, I know you have it in YOU! Just do it!!!

    Good plan. I like how you have allowed yourself a treat/splurge. Having something to look forward to will help you to focus on what needs to be done. YOU GO GIRL! emoticon emoticon
