This past week was really difficult for me. I didn't realize just how much my Zumba class has impacted my life. Having the ability to workout with a wonderful group of ladies has made such a difference in my desire to stay motivated. We didn't have any classes last week due to Thanksgiving, and tonight I was actually 'itching' to get started and as soon as the familiar warm up began, I felt a sense of release...all the tension and aggravation I've been carrying the last few days just melted away. I tried using a Zumba DVD, but that sense of release just wasn't there. I hope everyone has been able to stay on track with the beginning of this holiday season. If not, get back on track!

Strive for Progress, not perfection!

I didn't do that well, but I did not gain any weight. I have started walking every day. At least 2 miles a day. I hope to increase that now that I have some new walking shoes and new thick socks. Walking in the AM after work is really working, for me. Take care and have fun with Zumba. I might also do some Zumba (5 songs) in the evening.

Sometimes, doing something you like alone just isn't the same as doing with with others. I did good thru Thanksgiving and l'm doing good so far.

Have a great holiday and stay on track!
