Stopping Holiday Gains

To not be able to gain weight over the holidays might be harder for me than normal. Then again, I didn't gain over the Thanksgiving week. We'll make sure on Wednesday but it's looking very promising.

The reason why it might be hard to not gain weight is because I'm pregnant. Interestingly enough being 10 weeks along isn't that bad. I'm still losing weight but eating whatever I can muster myself up to eat. Nothing sounds good except the sweet goodies that are always being offered.

My goal is to gain only 15 pounds with this pregnancy which shouldn't be too hard since I only gained 13 pounds with my 3 yo. My plan is to continue eating as healthy as I can and continue exercising. Hopefully with those two things, I can only gain 15 pounds.

Another good thing is Jeff (hubby) has been keeping me in check with our eating since starting the 17 Day Diet. We have done really well but I cannot continue with it. My OB tells me not to so I'm still following it slightly with adding some carbs.

That's my plan and I'm sticking to it!

    Sounds like you have a good plan for staying with a 15-lb gain with this pregnancy. Keeping you and baby healthy is the main thing. We'll be cheering you along, can hardly wait to see your "end product"!
