I have been eating pretty unhealthy. Lots of sugar/desserts and not enough vegetables. And I got a cold so I stopped walking the stairs after each bathroom break at work. Which got me back up to 187.
So the last few weeks I'm being somewhat conscious of my total calories, and if I eat too much sugar in a day, I'll skip dinner or have something small and snack-sized. While this isn't the healthiest attitude, it has gotten me back down to 183-184. I'm clearly not quite ready to tackle my eating and get it back on track yet, so I'm trying to adjust my exercise. I walked the 5k Run to Feed the Hungry on Thanksgiving morning. Walked about a mile and a half the next night with my hubby after dinner. Didn't walk Saturday or Sunday, but did walk today for 25 minutes (note to self: walking in birkenstocks is harder on your shins than walking in your regular walking shoes. So start wearing the latter to work). I'm attempting to get a regular 25minute walking break on work days. It's a mile to walk the block around my office, and if I take the stairs down and back up, it's basically 25 minutes away from my desk. Hopefully I'll do that again tomorrow too. But today I walked so I get a sticker on my calendar.
And hey, at least I CAN still walk, right?
