How I can stop holiday gain?

Ha ha ha! Isn't that a funny idea and oh so impossible to manage? Yeah, probably but I haven't done great with the weight loss thing lately so why not give it a try.
Thanksgiving didn't go too bad. I kept my portions under control for both of the big dinners I was a part of and only really went overboard when it came to desserts. So, taking a lesson from that, I know where my weakness is and I need to be sure to be careful with the sweets for the rest of the holiday season. To keep from feeling deprived, I'll allow myself one portion of a treat each day. That doesn't mean a portion equals half a cheesecake! Maybe a portion could be a small piece of dark chocolate or maybe a single Christmas cookie, but as long as its not a huge sugar feast I should be okay.
