Hi SparkPeoples --
Even on a blah day like today, I find my energy level really goes up when browsing around on the SP website. Thanks to each of you for all the positive energy here -- it's like a supercharge in the middle of the day.
I'm feeling blah about totally going bonkers with food this last week -- Thanksgiving really is just the one day, but somehow my stomach didn't catch on to that until this morning when I finally said "enough is enough".
So getting excited about finally starting my new job next week. Plus I'm super happy to finally have my two house cats back with me. The move here with them this last week was eh.. interesting. I'll leave that for another blog at another time.
I'm also feeling a little blah about not being able to keep up with my 10 minutes of exercise streak that I'd set out to do earlier. It seems that I get through about 5 days worth, and then who knows what happens, and then I skip a day. So today, after reading a very inspirational blog, I decided to start again with new purpose. So today is day 1 of my exercise streak. And I'm giving myself a few days to "calm down" from Thanksgiving before I step on the scale for me-day (which is typically on Saturday).
In other news, this afternoon I've been inspired to put together a 'life plan' of sorts, similar to the SP goals, with short-term goals, medium-term goals, and long-term goals. It is still in the thinking stage at this point, but I think that it is important to think about the things that I want to accomplish and put together a plan to get there (just as the getting healthy goals are important).
So that's my plan.
