I can't believe I'm 184 :P

Warning: this is going to be whiney and complaining :P

How did I get this far??? I'm so not used to this body! I was perfectly comfortable in my 130lb limber and lithe and non-achey body! aaaaaack!!!
That just goes to show you how fast and far it can get out of control! My first mistake was getting sedentary (not to mention the onset of the schizo-affective DISORDER), then no longer cooking and eating packaged foods instead of fresh foods.

Rule number one: get off your bum
Rule number two: eat fresh veggies
Rule number three: drink water

It's not that complicated; it's not that hard--it only takes an "ok I'm getting off my bum now." It only takes that one little thing...over and over and over again! It's a lifestyle, not a habit! DUH!!!!

I am going to remember your rules.. hehehe.. nice, sweet, to the point

I'd remind you that the medications for the disorder many times cause weight gain, but that is bittersweet.. like finding out you have a genetic predisposition or PCOS, because most of the time if they find something that works for you, unless the weight gain is really sharp and pronounced, they aren't going to want to switch you off to find something else.. So it becomes kind of like "Oh, swell.. now what?" and just one more thing you have to overcome rather than an excuse to stay that way...

All those things you mentioned were babysteps in the wrong direction that can be made into babysteps for the right direction, and we already know you are motivated!!! Good luck on translating that whine and self-disgust into some positive action and positive feelings about yourself.

See you next time,
Theresa (IstraLouise)

The only real failure is NOT getting back up!! Sounds like you're on the road again ... Personally, I never had ANY situation that was not helped by a nice, brisk walk!!!!

You can do it!! It took you one step at a time to get where you are now and it will take you one step at a time to get you back to where you want to be!

Good Luck and stay positive!!!

Sweetheart, don't be hard on yourself. It sounds like you've been struggling with some tough stuff lately. Take it one step at a time and take care of yourself, body mind and soul, and you will get to the place you want to be.
