This Thanksgiving and subsequent days of travel and visiting family, I confess the following choices that have not been helpful.
Fake and overly sweet creamer in my coffee
Real sugar in my coffee on different days
2/3 chocolate chip cookie from Starbucks
Ezekial bread with jelly
I have made the following good choices:
Spinach with scrambled eggs
Dark leafy grean salads with roast beef
Homemade roasted chicken with veggies
Homemade chicken stock soup
Bananas, apples and grapes
Walnuts and dried fruit
Almond butter with fruit
Good health habits achieved:
Walking with my friend
Playing with the kiddos
What I miss from usual routine:
Waking up earlier than anyone to have my talk with Jesus over coffee
Reading the bible at that time
Exercising with Jillian Micheals DVD or pilates
Playing in my own back yard
Confession feels good. The travel and family time has been good, but I look forward to my own routine and getting back on track.
