7lbs before 100lbs lost!

I did some winter clothes shopping yesterday and got some nice stuff for cheap! I'm a huge advocate for trying clothes on, and boy when I did I was pleasantly surprised at what fit and what was too big. All of the XLs were too big and the Ls were PERFECT! I couldn't believe it. The biggest part of my shopping adventure was that I DIDN'T STEP FOOT INSIDE THE PLUS SIZE SECTION AT ALL. This, for me, is HUGE. I've been wearing adult plus sizes for as long as I could remember, since I was a small girl. To know that I spent a good 2 hours in a store and didn't even THINK to go to that part of the store was a dream come true. When I tried on some of the clothes and saw how I looked in them, I cried. I sat in that dressing room with my size 14 jeans and size L blouse and cried tears of joy. Listen, I know it sounds corny but it was so freeing for me, so amazing to have reached such a milestone in my journey like this. It took a few minutes to get myself together but once I did, I lept to my feet and just stood in the mirror. Me being the nit picky person noticed some rolls I'd rather not be there, so that fueled me to keep going with the cardio and being even more meticulous with what I eat. A lot of my remaining weight has settled into my midsection which is the hardest part to get off, but I have faith! I'll keep working on it and see what my body will look like in 5 weeks. I was feeling adventurous, so I walked through the junior section and picked up a cute open sweater that fits nicely too. I had a good time and should be pretty set for when I go to NJ for Christmas.

Never shall I be a 2XL or 3XL...ON TO BETTER THINGS!
