hectic week last week and i fell behind with the workouts (mom was in the hospital for the week, and i was going from home to wrok to the hospital ad back home to sleep all week...
Yesterday, all bummed out from not working out for the last 6 days, I went Christmas tree hunting and cutting and dragging to the car and lugging up 3 flights of stairs with my boyfriend. the "hunting" aspect was on a farm, and I logged 2.5 km of walking, but had my almost-3-year-old on my shoulders the entire time. the sawing aspect was a first for me, there were lots of squats to check out the trees... and lugging it up the stairs was very strenuous as well.
i feel that yesterday actually counted for something! and come to think of it, I did take my daughter to her swimming class on Friday and did do equivalent of 10 walking-laps in the water, while hoisting my daughter over my head many times... I was sore after that, so I guess that also counts as a good workout!
Hoping this week gives me more time now that mom's home and feeling better!
