Getting back in the loop!

Well, I'm back! My daddy is doing good, although it still hurts to cough and he's a little slow getting around. We are so blessed to still have him with us! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!
During all this, I got a little off balance and wasn't tracking my nutrition and fitness! I was watching what I ate but I wasn't getting in my exercise! I was going back and forth to the hospital every day for almost 2 weeks and when I got home late in the afternoon I was just too tired to do anything! What is it about just sitting in hospitals that is so tiring? These last few days I have caught myself eating things I shouldn't. I really need to get to the grocery store! And then throw into this mix, Thanksgiving and all the good food! But again I was good, to an extent! Our family had so much to be thankful for! We still have our daddy!
Today I am starting fresh! I'm watching what I eat and getting back into my exercise routine! I will get back to drinking my water as I should! There were days while I sat in the hospital that I would probably only get 2 bottles of water for the whole day! And as you know, this can cause water weight gain! I stepped on the scales one day and I had gained about a pound! I weighed this morning and have actually seen about a half pound loss since my last weigh in which was about 3 weeks ago!
I have realized through this experience that I have to learn more about eating healthy and making it a lifestyle! One day I will be on maintenance and I want to know that I can stay that weight and keep exercising! I let this situation get the best of me and throw a wrench in the works! At my age I know there will be other family crisis , my parents, my husband and I aren't getting any younger, I need to learn to adapt to the changes that undoubtably will come in the future!
Well, I'm fixing to get up and do my exercise for the day! It always makes me feel better! Thanks again my Spark friends for your prayers! They were answered! Praise the Lord!
