The Meaning of Life - Big He, Little Me

Monday, November 26, 2012

I don't know if the same thing's happenin' where you are, but in my church God seems to want to visit every single Sunday! And I'm lovin' it!
Yesterday was no exception. In fact, I'm getting rather used to His presence. Yes, I spend time with Him during my day-to-day life but there's something very special when a bunch of BELIEVErs get together (no, that's not a typo, I mean believers who REALLY BELIEVE) - He seems to take it very seriously and responds to hunger in a big way. I feel like I'm in the Garden of Eden sometimes, and that He's talking to me during the cool of the day. Not that it was a warm fuzzy message - oh no, it was definitely a check-up-from-the-neck-up one. But it's good. We all need to re-evaluage our priorities every once in a while, and I promise you if you'll take the time to listen to thise you will. So glad the man of God I serve shared this. I needed it.

One more thing. I saw this and again, it reminded me of things I had let slip. It's not that I don't know them, but they're foundational truths I've lost sight of. Short, but very good for the heart. In her own words, "Hell is not for me, any more." Wise words, from a wise woman.

I truly pray this day finds you blessed and surrounded by His presence, but most of all I pray you're more in love with the Lover of your soul than you ever have been in your life.

Our church was on fire on The LORD yesterday! I could feel HIS PRESENCE there!
I love worshipping the LORD at home but I love worshipping the LORD with other Believers!

Thank You for your blog!

GOD BLESS!
Louise

That's a really good thing your church is on fire.

I've been at mine for decades. I do like it, but it so many have moved or gone elsewhere, it is an adjustment. emoticon

I love my church too. I don't get to sit in the service during the preaching, I am ministering to kiddos at that time. The real blessings I get are when I see the kids get it! Sometimes you wonder if they are listening, but then they surprise you by saying something brilliant! My husband is our pastor, so I hear his sermons throughout the week. He loves to tell me how God is talking to him. God is awesome!

WE ONCE HAD A GUEST PASTOR AT OUR CHURCH THAT BLEW ME AWAY. ONE TINY THING HE SAID HAS STAYED WITH ME FOREVER. HE SAID, "HE IS THE GREAT 'I AM'. AND I AM NOT" AS LONG AS I KEEP THAT IN MIND, I DON'T STRAY TOO FAR FROM HIS SIDE.

I chose to skip church yesterday and missed out on what you shared. I agree with what you say every time I get together with BELIEVErs, that warm and fuzzy feeling, meaning with my Jesus is awesome. Like the day to day is wonderful, praise God for that, being with BELIEVErs builds even more. Thanks for sharing! Have a blessed week!

Yes! No need to show up there if He is not there to greet you!
