I survived Thanksgiving and the weekend! I had a plan and stuck to it. I did allow myself to have some pie (a slice of apple and pumpkin) but they were smaller slices than I normally would have had. I also tracked everything I ate and continued with my workouts. Overall, I'm proud of how I managed the holiday.
On another note, I've been looking at a lot of other blogs and vlogs from other sparkers . I am so happy that I found SparkPeople. It has really been inspiring reading about other people's successes. Truly motivational. I watched Moms1 (I think that was the name) vlog on her 600th day of exercising. I was so inspired by her that I want to reach 600 days and beyond too. I counted up the days that I exercised since I started sparking (Oct 21, 2012) and I found that I did 20 days before I broke my streak but started the next day. So far it's been 15 days since then. Only 585 more until my 600th. I also have been inspired to start hula hooping. I found videos on YouTube that show you how to make your own and this last Saturday I went out and bought the materials and made one myself. I was surprised that I could keep it up for over four minutes. It's been years since I last hula hooped. I had fun doing it and made me feel like a kid again. It's a keeper.
