11,799. It's my new favorite number. In 70 minutes, I can crank out over 11,000 steps, well over my 10k goal. I'm getting back on the step band wagon! Now that my Fitbit is on the way, I'm totally stoked to start counting steps! 5 miles of walking is a little better than 10k steps. I have a 4 mile walking/jogging dvd and if I repeat mile 3, I can get my five in. Or I have a 4 mile neighborhood route that I'll modify to squeeze in another mile when I want to get out and stretch my legs.
I really love biking, but all that I've read on converting bike miles to steps seems like a real pain. Furthermore, there doesn't seem to be a way to log bike "steps" on the Fitbit site.
So, that's my latest plan. I've been streaking since Thanksgiving. Today was a good food day. I avoided the baklava that's been tempting me. I can do this.
