Snow And Soreness and Longing

Sunday, November 25, 2012

Well we finally got that nasty four letter word today; snow. I am not an outdoor person in the winter that much. I like to hibernate in the house where it's warm. My arms are still hurting and I am thinking of looking into Osteo BIoflex. On top of that our dog is sick with a cold and coughs alot during the night. So between my arms sometimes and his coughing I don't sleep well. We had to order another battery for the other computer; it was running low too soon. My main wishes for the coming year are a job of some kind and that God would bring a man into my life. My heart is longing to find someone again; it seems everyone found someone but me. This single life is not for me.

emoticon I know that sometimes it seems that when it rains it pours. I'm so sorry your arms still hurt and hope you soon find relief. May your dog quickly lose that cold and be well - for both your sakes. Our pets become like family to us, and we hate for them to be sick.

I'm glad you were able to get another battery for the computer, even tho' it probably cost an arm and a leg. emoticon

I pray that God will lead you in the direction He has planned for you - that you will see it as His leading - both for a job and for someone to come along side of you. God definitely has a plan for you and His plan is for good. Don't lose heart if it takes what seems like too much time for either the job or the man. You are engraved in the palm of God's hand. What a precious thought - there's no way He could forget you and your needs/wants/desires.

Maybe there are resources at school that could slide you into a work/study type program? This might be a start to get into work at the school? Thinking also of volunteer work that could lead to something more permanent? Substitute teaching maybe.... tutoring... something like that.... maybe something part-time that could lead to full-time...

Praying for puppy & your arm. For the man too. He would be very lucky. Do you have a plan going on how to meet him...

Sorry to hear you got the s word. Single life is no fun. Try and keep you spirits up, not easy with an achy body and sick puppy. I feel bad for you. All I know is to be patient and God will put someone in your life when you least expect it. For over 30 years we said someday we will get a house in N.C. This summer, out of the blue, God blessed us. I can't stand one more winter in the cold, so it was a blessing. I hope it doesn't take you that long. I met my husband out of the blue, no looking. Good things come to those who wait. In the meantime, keep taking care of yourself because you never know when that moment will come. Good luck!!
