I went to WOD (workout of the day) today...the 1st WOD since my yoga class.
I immediately noticed a difference in my range of motion!
Our WOD was a workout from the 2012 CrossFit Games Open ... WOD 12.3 which consisted of:
As many reps as possible in 18 minutes of:
15 Box jumps (24″/20″)
12 Push press (115#/75#)
9 Toes to bar
In doing box jumps, I always feel like I'm not going to jump high enough. Not a problem today! In fact, I almost jumped clear over the box on one rep!
On my push presses, I didn't hear Pete yelling, 'stay tight' once. Yeah boy!!!
I don't have toes to bar yet so I scaled it to knee ups. By the 6th round, I was doing knees to chest!
So, yes, I will be incorporating yoga into my weekly schedule...even if Pete doesn't make it officially a part of our training!
