Yippee...I'm 3 for 3 on good eats and healthy exercise.
I'm telling you I totally am in love, love, LOVE
with my new Fitbit Ultra. It's the coolest little gizmo ever! I love the way it is sleek and slender and gives you little motivation "Hey..heys" and grows you a lovely little virtual flower for however much you've done with your exercise for the day.
I also TOTALLY love the sleep mode that lets you know how well you are sleeping. Well..you sorta know that on your own now don't you...but it's nice to have the data too. I slept last night at 93% efficiency. I awakened 15 x ...(Fiona..as I'm naming her...must measure arm movements and bathroom runs...NO ....I do NOT get up 15 x per night to go to the bathroom
)...but I do drink a ton of water...so once for sure.
It took me 24" to fall asleep...I must have read for about 20 " of that time so I'm out QUICK..and that's a GOOD thing. Poor hubs is a classic insomniac and I feel for the guy. Stays up til the WEE hours watching t.v. in the leisure room...I tell him he's overstimulated...he watches ZOMBIE movies...ekkks!
I'd NEVER be able to sleep...I'm basically a fraidy cat when it comes to scary movies. Even Dexter freaks me out if I watch it right before I go into bed.
Today I walked AN HOUR!
This may seem wimpy to some of you but for ME...it's HUGE! I think "Fiona Fitbit" has a lot to do with that. I LOVE a good challenge and she WILL give it to you! I only took about 2 flights of steps here in the house since we are off from the consignment gallery where I bolt up and down numerous times.
I calculated my calories for the day and did great. Curbed the munchies as I worked on business bookwork with 2 cups of Constant Comment Green tea. The best!
Soooo all in all I'm a happy camper today. It's me and Fiona...onward and upward!
Also got the Thanksgiving debacle sorted out with the hubs. I ALWAYS force him to talk out things when I'm feeling bad about something...he really has no choice...poor guy!
BUT that may explain why we have been married 35 years next May. Ya gotta communicate...even when you would rather just ignore issues. So all is well again...until the next time!

I lost 2 lbs in 3 days...of course I realize that the pounds peel off faster in the beginning but REALLY just counting calories and being MINDFUL of what I throw in my mouth...and then exercise....GLORIOUS exercise..those are the TICKET!
I even went over on calories taking in 1344 when I really have a max of about 1200 on my meal planner. HEY...I want to lose weight and I'm on a time table for the NYC trip in mid December...got to make up for wasted time right?
8232 steps...fell short of my 10,000 EVEN with my hour long walk! Drat...got to get that tushie moving more!
Only 2 quick floor flights running upstairs to my craft nest...will do better tomorrow since I'm not back to the consignment gallery til Tuesday.

1853 calories burned...NOT enough...but I still lost weight so it's all good!
432 active score..again...wimpsville..but it WILL improve as I get the hang of this exercise stuff down pat.
Sleep: 89% efficiency. Not as good as last night but THEN...I did have that delectable rib eye steak for dinner that DH grilled. We ate early...but apparently NOT early enough. AND the calories were SO worth the splurge. This steak would have been $50.00 out at any local GOOD steakhouse and I think it was actually better than ANY I can remember in recent time.

Grill about 6 minutes allowing a crusty tasty outer coating. The hubs did GREAT on this meal...he usually KILLS the steak by overcooking it. I think our little blow up over Thanksgiving has him much more mindful of his actions AND my reactions to his actions so we just took one more step towards understanding each other's feelings. ALWAYS room for personal interconnections even after all these long, long years together.
I went to bed at 10:15 p.m. it took me 21 minutes to fall asleep I awakened 16 x so even thought I was IN bed for 8 hours and 15 minutes my actual sleep time was 6 hours and 55 minutes...just about perfect.
I LOVE my little Fiona Fitbit...and she is teaching me perfect lessons in learning to LOVE me back! It's all GOOD in Bobbi~ville!
