Yeah, not sure how many times I've labeled a post Day 1. I probably need to get a bit more creative with these things. I'll put that on the to-do list for later tho.
I looked at my last blog entry here and realized it was from the very start of BLC20. We are now nearing the end and I have managed to not stick to my plan. Moving and the loan process became so much more stressful than I had ever imagined and I made a decision for my sanity that trying to deal with perfect eating and working out more just wasn't in the cards. I think I gained a few pounds in there but only a few and now I can happily say that we are in our new house and are past the initial rush of getting settled and while there is still tons to unpack, it's time to start taking care of myself again. I realized that I have signed up to do a half-marathon in May and I am nowhere near ready to do that and training needs to begin now! I'm also really close to hitting black belt at KSW and I want to have that completed in 2013 (earlier rather than later) but I almost passed out at the last black belt test due to lack of cardio conditioning. Not good.
So today I'm starting things back up. Trying to go slowly so as to not injure myself but not so slowly that I get bored and give up. Here's the plan:
Sun: 10min Trainer + C25K
Mon: 10min Trainer + 2hrs KSW
Tues: 10min Trainer + C25K
Wedn: 10min Trainer
Thurs: 10min Trainer + 2hrs KSW
Fri: 10min Trainer + C25K
Sat: 10min Trainer (and possibly 1hr KSW)
We have a recumbent exercise bike now that I may try to set-up to do some light workouts in the evenings or something but still need to get space for that in the garage and we are looking to find a treadmill on Freecycle or Craigslist for the days when the weather isn't cooperating for my C25K.
So today I got up, cleaned and vacuumed the living room and did 10min Cardio with Tony. I figured trying to jump in and do the abs and/or lower body as well was probably pushing it a bit farther than I wanted to since I was doing C25K so I just did the one thing. Going to try and get 2 segments in tomorrow and be doing all 3 segments by the end of the week. We'll see how the plan goes.
