Walk on the Beach- healing.

Sunday, November 25, 2012

Yesterday we went to visit my friend's mom who just moved back home from Hawaii.
She lives near the beach & I thought a nice beach walk would be healing...

(we lost one of our cats, Skullbutt, last week)

It was beautiful by the water, & even though Ted is still a sad sleep-walker, I think he perked up a little.
He took this picture of me & Momma Baer...

I like it because of the sun it looks like we could be walking in either direction.
& it makes me think how time goes both backwards & forwards.

Our memory, our experience.

SkullButt? How precious emoticon I snuggled my babies extra this weekend. Pets are always in our hearts and the pain of losing them is worth the joy they bring to us emoticon

I love the pictures. I'm so glad that you got out and got some fresh air. A walk on the beach is so therapeutic. I love it.

We lost our 19 year old cat last weekend too.

I still see her in my minds eye romping with the butterflies in the back yard back before she got too old to see and hear and run and jump. She's in a better place now. And yes, she will always be with us.

I hope that soon you can find a peaceful place for healing and letting go.

    That is a wonderful picture.

Our loved pets are always with us in, whether physically or in our memories. And as long as we remember them they will never truly die.
