Reality check!

Ok, I'm coming clean. I thought I did pretty well this Thanksgiving and I did. However, I have to admit that I gained around three pounds. emoticon I'm at exactly the top weight in my range, so it's a reality check.

I know how I got here. It wasn't the meals or exercise...it was the boredom. I grazed when I was bored at night. I did walk, but 30-40 minutes isn't enough of a deterrent when it gets dark around 5:00 PM. emoticon

So where do I go from here? I go back to the healthy habits that I've learned. I weigh in on Friday so I have plenty of time to lose a few pounds the healthy and right way! Longer walks emoticon , Zumba and some strength training emoticon will all help.

The positive of this situation is that I haven't "thrown in the towel." In the old days I'd just start eating and binge on food, telling myself I'd start tomorrow. Not this time or ever again! I'm proud that I've stayed in my weight range and that I'm able to "grab the cookies and put them back in the cookie jar."

This reality check is doable and I will succeed!
