Gym and Insanity Infommercial

Sunday, November 25, 2012

I went to the gym yesterday morning and had the place all to myself. I turned on the television so I could have something to look at besides the wall and mirror. I do not have television at home and was amazed that with all those stations, I could not find a program that interested me.

I chose to watch the infommercial for the Insanity workouts, thinking it would inspire me while I treaded the mill (hee hee). I looked at the before and after pictures, then my reflection and decided I am still a before. I really need to get serious about my diet.

On a positive note, I am on Level 2 in the 30 Day Shred and noticed a huge improvement in my strength. My workout music choice was Podrunner Interval Freeway to 10k and I think I ran just under 6 miles. I am still trying to figure out the new treadmill and it shut off after 60 minutes, so I had to restart it and I forgot to check the mileage.

I love those infomercials. I also love the Insanity workouts. It's funny that you mentioned diet instead of the workouts. I firmly believe that you achieve those types of bodies with proper diet. It's often been said that abs are made in the kitchen.
