Pumpkin Pie for Breakfast!

Sunday, November 25, 2012

Yup, that's right. I ate pumpkin pie for breakfast this morning. It was inevitable -- that pumpkin pie was on my list of things to eat for today. So I figured, why not eat it first thing and then spend the rest of the day burning it off?

Did I enjoy that pie? You bet! I savored every bite. And now I'm off to do an hour of cardio dance. (I'm choreographing a routine for a class that I'll be teaching in January.) Then later I'll walk/jog the dog. There's even some yoga planned.

So now you know--I've confessed. What did you have for breakfast? Leave me a comment. I'd love to hear from you!

    Loved your breakfast!!!!

I had 1/2 cup fiber one cereal mixed with 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean cereal, topped with 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup sliced strawberries, 1 banana sliced, and 1/2 cup fat free milk.

Sounds like a BIG bowl of cereal ........and ..........it is. emoticon emoticon

Haha.. well on Sunday, since that's when you posted.. I had a piece of apple pie for lunch. I was in the kitchen with my 6 year old doing gingerbread houses and that pie was sitting there staring at me so I ate it. It was the last piece. Now it's gone and can't torment me anymore. :-)

How fun! And what a clever take on it! I had apples and raisins in my oatmeal with a but of cinnamon, so in effect it was like apple pie!

There is no pie in my house. I ate Grape Nuts. It's the only cereal without added sugar. It's not a cereal with warm fuzzies.

I should have eaten my pie for breakfast! I ate cereal instead. Kind of boring after hearing about the pie!

No worries about the pie! You'll burn it all off with the exercise you have planned. Not feeling guilty about eating it is a great thing! I'm having a protein pancake with blueberries.

In my humble opinion, breakfast is THE best time for pie. Wish I had thought of it this am!
