Here I am 4 months later...

and I haven't gotten anywhere. So today, I am getting a head start on my New Year's goals. A friend of mine is setting a goal for himself to write (he's a writer) at least something for a hundred days straight. I am setting that goal to exercise for 100 days straight. By then, it should definitely be a habit!

I don't eat as healthfully as I should, but I eat less than I used to. I know the problem of my weight is basically that I don't expel any energy. At my age, there is no excuse for that. Also, my energy level is low due to my being sedentary, not to mention that my mind is going to mush.

So as they say "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again".

Thanks so much for the encouragement and the great ideas. You're right, BUTEAFUL, I bet I'd see a difference too (or be dead trying). LOL. I did start walking. My mother is in a wheelchair, and the weather being so beautiful here, gives me an opportunity to get her out and get me moving. emoticon

For what its worth turn off the tv and go for a walk or perhaps get yourself an elliptical or a bicycle and put it in front of the tv.. Or exercise while the commercials are on.

Remember this: If you miss a day, that shouldn't be an end to the goal - just an end to that streak. Start right back in and aim for 100 again, or at least more than the previous streak.
