Day one a success!!

Saturday, November 24, 2012

Life is amazing, and if we look around we can see all the little miracles life has given us, and one of them is our health. I am an active participant in ruining that or making it better and better. My choices everyday affect that. I chose good choices, I chose veggies, fruits, and water everyday! I chose to NOT sit on the couch and complain about being "fat", I chose to get up and move my butt for at least 30 minutes a day.It was my choice to get "fat", well it is my choice from here on out to get "fit". I will be 40 and fabulous!!!!!!

We teach our children that life is about choices, so it is time to quit being a hypocrite. We can change the way America eats and exercises, one family at a time. And it starts with ours.

Thank you all!! And YES, yaking control of our lives is probably one of the hardest things to do, yet one of the most imporatnt things to do. We to often loose ourselves in work, family, friends, addictions, disease, you name it. We cant give up on us!!! emoticon

Here's a way to keep things moving in the right direction since we all want to stay fit and motivated during the busy (and calorie-filled) holiday season by pledging to run at least one mile every day, Thanksgiving through New Year's.

Pledge to run/walk at least one mile every day, from Thanksgiving (that's Thursday, November 22) through New Year's Day. Track your mileage and keep it moving!

Taking control of our lives is so important and hard. It takes some courage to finally lose the weight, quit smoking, put down the bottle, spend responsibly, or what ever it is we need to work at to live a more normal life.
