Lazzy Kitty needs to get back to Mirror Kitty.

Saturday, November 24, 2012

LAZY KITTY!! That has to be the theme for the last two days. Tazzy is insane from not walking. I have Christmas presents piled on my elliptical. And I haven't made 10,000 steps in the last two days combined! I have no excuse. No work, no family, and it's not like I'm doing anything around the house.

Can't tell you why I'm not doing. I'm just not. I should feel horrible but I'm kind of running numb. Not really caring. I don't think I'm depressed. Just "blah" and not feeling like doing much of anything. Ok, pity party is over.

Mirror Kitty needs to get her strut back. So it's time to get off my ever spreading rump and start moving. I need to set my alarm again tomorrow and get out of the house at 5 am. I need a run with the Tazzy - and she's gonna kick my a$$!! I need it and deserve it. Wanting to or not, it is time to unstick the derriere from the couch.

Ok, so for the week - I need to run Sun and Wed. I have a 5K on Saturday so only walking after Wednesday. Monday and Friday walks will be fine. Tues and Thurs will be tough as I have dogs to train but I have to stop letting the cold/dark stop me. It is going to be cold and dark for months - I'm a big girl, need to get over it.

Sun should also be a PT test, but I've done nothing for improvement. Need to do it anyway - tough. MWF need some ST including military push-up and sit-ups.

I also have to sneak in going downtown to pick up my packet for Saturday. I'm hoping to sneak that in before my dog on Tuesday night. I'll see if my client is willing to start 30 minutes late. That will give me time to get my race packet.

Ok, I'm done rambling and dumping my schedule on ya'll. See what happens when I don't have my blog planned or thought out?!? emoticon

Warm Wags Everyone!

How did i get unsubscribed from your I am behind in the Life and Times of Kitty.

I have been super lazy this weekend too. It's like having a holiday was just one long excuse to do nothing. Well, holiday's over and I am going to follow your good example. Thanks for the kick in the pants!

Sounds like you're plenty busy even without your workout schedule. I know you'll be back to it in no time though.

I hope your walk this morning with Tazzy was good. No more lazy Kitty! Time to get over the winter "blah's" and get going. It's going to be several months before spring comes as much as we might detest it being that long we can't do anything about it. It's good that you have a plan for this week! Now get going!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

You gave yourself a good talking too. You know what to do. Now go on out and get to it this week because you can and you will.
I need to follow your example and give myself a bit of a talking to too. At a bit of a plateau and been a bit lazy about things this past week. Being tired and sometimes even exhausted doesn't help.
    Have a fabulous week!Maria

I am always so impressed at how great of a cheerleader you can be for yourself, and how you get yourself going and keep yourself motivated. There is no doubt in my mind that you will reach your ST goals and kick some major ass in the 5K. Where is it?

I think these blahs sort of come with the holidays! I've had them the past few days too. I took yesterday off completely! But, I'm back today! Congrats on entering your 2nd 5K this year! That is awesome! I'm sure the fuzzy personal trainer will have you back in line in no time! Unfortunately it is going to be cold and dark for awhile! Make sure you wear some reflective clothing and such for you and Taz as well! Be safe! Make it fun. I'm a day or so behind on my Spark Coach, but Coach Nicole had a thing on there about new fitness goals.... Did you get that one yet? That might help you since you are a bit bored with it all now that you are so fit and fab! LOL! Just do it my friend, just do it!

Given how unhappy your Thanksgiving day ended, I'm not surprised you were "down" the next couple of days. I hope you and Tazzy had a great run/walk.

You've got a plan, that always now to follow through. I promise not to give up on my fitness if you don't! We can do it, out of bed early and hit the road/treadmill!!

Get up and go baby! Let Tazzy kick you back into gear so you can get moving again!
    1913 days ago
Today is today. Concentrate on that as you can't change yesterday or do anything about tomorrow till it happens! And seeing as you have a plan, well . . . go for it!

I think we ALL have LAZZY KITTY in us. For sure. I know I do! But give the lioness roar to her and let her know MIRROR KITTY is back on track!

    HUGS and good luck!

Lazy Kitty and Lazy Spoon - I know where you are coming from! Be glad you've only had a couple of days of it, it feels like I've been pretty apathetic for weeks now. But if I can force myself out of that mindset, then of course you can too!!!

I took Peanut on two 30+ minute walks yesterday, got my pantry cleaned out, inventoried, and organized, and today it's time to tackle the fridge and freezer, and plan out my meals for the week. Also going to take Peanut on an even longer walk today.

Here's to a strong end to November!!!!

You are probably taking a moment (or day or two) to relax. That is good. Hoping you are up and running today! Good luck this Saturday. Carol

You'll get back on track. It's just what happens after the time change. I've been doing the same thing and I have to get outside with Jen tomorrow. I've been using rain as an excuse and here we have three days with no rain coming up starting tomorrow.
