So I have a cold again-second time in a month, my IT band still is not better, work is out of control busy, V's dad is back to more bad days than good. It seems like everything is working against me and my workout schedule. I have still been trying to run but not getting to as much as I'd like. Hopefully life will settle down soon.

    To me it sounds like life is telling you not to run right now. Literally. As in, you're running around enough with work and family and stress and health issues -- your body doesn't want to physically run until after the holidays are over. Maybe it's just a time to heal and listen to your body. And find quiet, peaceful ways to relax and regroup.

    And then you can get a fresh start with your workouts on January 1st. emoticon

    Some nice walks would be good to do in December, but nothing too physically taxing. emoticon

    That's just the feeling I get. I hope you're able to find time for YOU. emoticon emoticon

    The holidays get stressful and sometimes you just have to give yourself a break. Try some nice warm chicken noodle soup and a night of relaxation with a good sleep following. Sometimes that can set things right again. Hope you're feeling better soon.
