Happy last Saturday of the month! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving (for those who are not U.S. residents, I hope you had a wonderful 4th Thursday of November!)
I had a great dinner with my immediate family; my son, my folks and my brother. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, King's Hawaiian Bread rolls and gravy. It was some good eats and I wasn't about to miss out! Damn the scales, full speed ahead!
However, the weight from the previous Saturday's free day of overeating wasn't coming off so after Thursdays festivities, I expected a big gain this morning. I wasn't disappointed either, it wasn't as big as I thought it would be, but it was definitely up!
Weight : 216.8
Gain : 2.4
Total : 100.4
Yep, up 2.4 lbs for this week. But the good news is that I wasn't up 5 lbs and I didn't cross back over the 100 lbs lost mark. Whew. I've already crossed that 100lbs mark twice, I did not want to have to do it again!!!!
I didn't end up going out for pizza and Pepsi today, as is my normal routine. Instead my son and I went to breakfast where I loaded up on eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. Switched it up a bit and really took in a lot of protein. Of course I am enjoying my Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino as I write this, mmmmm.
That is all for now. I gained 2.4 lbs and I don't really care :) It will be gone again in a week or two (maybe 3) and I will be back on track (until Christmas dinner probably!). So to you all, have a blessed weekend, next week, and rest of the year.
Don't sweat gains over the holidays people, if you did well over the course of the year, it's okay to indulge yourself with family and friends at this time, you can always get back on the wagon a little later, I'll save you some room :)
