WUB day after Thanksgiving! Worst score since I started wubbing.

- emoticon WEEKLY updates about specific behaviors are, for me, the best kick in the pants! emoticon
It's so much better to take an inventory of my emoticon progress after one week versus months going by and me wondering emoticon "what happened?".

My WUB (weekly update blog) November 23 :
( 3 possible points each of six goals.)

1.Working toward 500 Fitness Minutes goal for the month of NOVEMBER. 2 points emoticon but not emoticon


2. "Daily base 2 of 3 meals on veggies." 2 points emoticon

Not getting in the 'greens' even though I am buying them. emoticon emoticon
The vegetables I have been eating are pumpkin, squash, roasted carrots, spaghetti squash....


3. " No more than one cup of coffee per day. emoticon And drink minimum of 8 glasses of water and/or green tea per day." second week in a row: only 1 point
because way too much caffeinated coffee! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon


4. "Limit SP time to 2 hours. ... emoticon so "Me Time" is used for a hobby or seeing a friend or something active like taking a walk." down to only .5 points
did not do any 'hobby stuff at all. emoticon

I like: photography emoticon , walking emoticon , chatting with a friend emoticon , out to the library or emoticon somewhere(not shopping!), etc. But emoticon I am not actually doing any of these activities!
Sitting at the computer or in front of the TV or even lying in bed with a book are enjoyable but pretty much 'vegging.'

5. Water aerobics at least 3 times per week---- down to 1 point! emoticon emoticon

6.WUB Weekly Update Blogs on these goals to keep me focused. 3 points!

    Reading the Blogs help me stay focus

I too have slacked off the veggies . I too limit my sp time . I want to read . I want to play bejewels , helps me with keeping my mind alert.

    Have you tried checking in with yourself after you type up your WUB? Ask yourself questions like: Why didn't I meet this goal? What problems arose? What could I do to prevent or circumvent those problems in the future? How can I ensure I will meet this goal next week? What can I schedule right now to make sure I accomplish my tasks next week (schedule a workout, schedule a hobby activity, schedule your meals so you know what you're having and not 'forget' about a food you wanted to get eaten)? What can you change in your house to help you meet your goals (like having less coffee available and keeping your workout/water aerobics gear packed and ready)?

Saying if you're doing something or not is one step, now move onto the next step by really getting involved with the reasons why you're doing or not doing something you want to. Once you know why then you can work on how to make it easier to do it than not do it.
