Making the Most of the Time

My van's brakes are making an awful noise.
So I called the little old lady I go to most Saturdays - since I drive her around, I wanted to tell her that I thought it better to forego until I got the matter taken care of. I could sure use the money - especially now with a brake job to be done! But safety first.
But I'm not one to sit aroundall day, not even to Spark! I'd been wanting to look for my 2011 Tax Return for some W-2's, to change the mortgage over to MY name since my husband's passing. So, I went i9nto the "workroom" - so called because it has been used to store works in progress: soldering, crocheting, ceramics. It is small, but roomy enough that it has been used as a bedroom (complete with cable access!) But mostly it is a catch-all, where we put things "for now" until it reaches critical mass. Then it's time to tidy up.
Two large trash bags and several broken-down cardboard boxes later, the floor can be seen again, and I found some stocking stuffers I got for my grandkids LAST year.
But still not the document I wanted. Oh, I found the receipts I'd used - but the return has the W-2's.
Well...my desk needs to be tidied up. That'll be the next project. Butnot today. No, I'll glaze the things I underglazed yesterday and get them fired up.
Does cleaning the workroom count as exercise????
