Trading kids

Saturday, November 24, 2012

Of course we got together with the family for Thanksgiving and the family has been trading kids since then...which is normal for my family.

My brother and his wife and six kids. One that's their own who is 18, four from Foster Care that they adopted ranging in age from 18 to 15, in one that's our nephews (one of our sister's sons) that they adopted who is 4.

One of my brother's kids, Luke and our ( my husbands and I) adopted son, decide that wanted to spend the weekend together so we brought him back to our house. We haven't seen much of the two 16 year olds, since they have been in the basement playing PS3 games most of the time.

Last night we had dinner with my oldest daughter at her house because my grandson, Cassius and my youngest son Andrew, are best friends and didn't have enough play time on Thursday. My oldest daughter Crystal had two other of my brother's kids there for dinner with us all so they all got a chance to play and have some more fun!

Cassius has a horse named Andrew.

And of course my youngest, Andrew spent the night at Cassius house and I'm really surprised that one or both of my brother's son's that were there didn't come home with us...I guess sometimes it's nice not to have to be around your sibling's...I wouldn't know.

One of our many games of Freeze Tag!

We let the kids together as much as we can since family is so important to us and having friends in the family can't hurt either!

11/25/2012 UPDATE: My grandson spent the night last night here with his best buddy Uncle Andrew!
