The plan that failed.

Saturday, November 24, 2012

I'm not upset I'm not mad, in fact it's all ok. We went out of town for Thanksgiving to my husbands families. I cooked the turkey (some one else bought).

This past week the streak has fizzled. Monday I got up early and did the rest of my grocery shopping at 6:00 am, before the rest of the world was awake. I came home and slept most of the day. Fighting a sore throat.

Tuesday was a action packed day. I got up early and started to clean the house, I then had to take the dog to the groomers, get my other daughter and friend take 3 teen/young adult girls to the mall and follow them around. (we do this so I get the right ideas for christmas!) After the mall I had to pick the dog up from the groomer, get home finnish making a 'mock' thanksgiving dinner. Then we put up the christmas tree. There was no time to work out. I was VERY ACTIVE all day that's for sure.

Wed: I got up early and had to pack, I then worked all day. Came home we jumped in the car for that 3-4 hour drive.. than turned into 5 hours!!!!! No working out this day either.

Thursday: Gotta cook the turkey then we had planned to go for a walk... hmm yah that just never happened.

Friday: Lots to do for the mother in law before we head home... No time again for a walk or a run....

So today is Saturday: Swim class day! The streak starts again! Sunday we SKI!!! The snow if finally falling on the MT! emoticon

Sometimes life happens, and it's not like you were sitting around on your bum all day. HooRay for 1st ski trip. And HooRay for the Ducks, much better than the last game!

Yea, what they said.. ~pointing to the wise Sparkers below..~
Are you doing the Jingle Bell this coming Sunday? I can't remember if you did it last year or not. Had fun at the Hot Buttered Run yesterday and thought of you.
Hopefully we can run into each other at another run again soon!

It's great that you aren't beating yourself up. Life happens and it's about how quickly you can get back to and you are getting back to it in a flash. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Jealous you get to ski - the mountains here aren't open for another week or two - I can't wait to go - Great that you have started your streak again!

It may not be formal exercise, but it does sound like you got a workout!
