I am excited to announce for the first time ever (that I can remember) I had a loss the day after Thanksgiving!!!!!!
It was only .25 but it was a loss!
This morning I got up at 5:00 and was at JoAnn's at 5:55. I mainly went to get the flannel backing for my granddaughter's quilt. It was a doorbuster at 75% off. I think half of the line went straight to the flannel stacks. I couldn't really browse like I normally do, so I just starting pulling bolts that I liked and putting in my cart (just like everyone else, because if you didn't you wouldn't get what you wanted). Then I headed to the cutting table. I was one of the first ones there, but I still had to wait about 10 minutes before my number was called.
After I got the fabric cut, I checked out a couple of other things that I need, then got in the line to check out. I was in that line for 45 min. The gal in front of me had 6 FULL carts of flannel. She is making rag quilts for Project Linus.
When I got home, we had an e-mail from a guy on Craig's list about a "Brio" train set he had for sell. He was available at 10:00. So, we headed out again. We got a great deal!!
On the way home we stopped at Tuesday Morning to look at one of their Black Friday deals. We didn't like it, but found another good deal-some Melissa & Doug wooden puzzles, that wasn't advertised.
We came home for a little bit, then headed out again. We went to Red Lobster for lunch - we had an excellent BOGO coupon. Then we went to Lifeway and got some more Christmas gifts from their Black Friday specials.
Tonight, we pulled out the gifts from our "gift closet" that we get on sale throughout the year to see what we got and what we need to get. Time to plan for Christmas -- hard to believe it is only a month away.
