It is so amazing to me how quickly I lose my tolerance for alcohol. So far I've only had something to drink twice this past week (tonight and Monday) and the 2 glasses I've had tonight have gone STRAIGHT to my head.
Anyway..today hasn't been too bad. My eating hasn't been great...I figured it's Friday, I feel like pizza. So I ordered a small and had 2 pieces with some salad. I now have lunch for tomorrow.
But, I have managed to be productive. Dishes are all done, kitchen is clean, bathroom is clean, garbage is gone, recycling is gone, kitchen floor is washed.
So...let's see how I measured up today, shall we? :)
Power of 10
10 minutes of fitness:
15 minutes of dancing around my living room, 30 minutes of sweating when I was cleaning the bathroom, took the stairs down to the garbage room and back up again.
10 minutes of housework:
clean bathroom, clean kitchen, no garbage and recycling in the apartment
10 minutes for ME:
I played the piano for 45 minutes, I spent a couple hours with Grandma and Audrey, I'm blogging, and once I'm done that, I'm going to take a bubble bath.
As for my Canada Food Guide check-in...that's a total bust today. Back on track tomorrow. :)
I LOVE that I have cleaned off the piano and I'm back in the habit of playing every day. My friend has roped me into playing a couple of pieces as part of her students' Christmas recital so I'm practising for that. She realized that even with each of her students playing 2 pieces that the recital was only about 20 minutes long (her students are all brand new to the piano and no older than 9). She didn't want to play anything and take away from her students so she asked me to pretend I was an adult student so I could fill some time. I'll then help lead the audience in a Christmas carol sing-along. As for what I'm playing, I have selected The First Noel and I Saw Three Ships.
And with that, I'm off to take my bubble bath. I think I'll then read for a bit before I head to bed.
