I had the best thanksgiving yesterday. I even thought this is the best thanksgiving I think I ever had. Started out with me online shopping amazon got some great deals. Finished christmas shopping for everyone. I wanted a fake tree this year with a new baby and new kitten so we went to family dollar thinking maybe they had one and we wouldnt have to drive into town . score they had them and not only that they were 50% off along with other christmas stuff so i stocked up on wrapping paper while i was in there and got tape. Then I said well we already had thanksgiving dinner but since im off I think i will still fix a nice dinner. we decided on meat balls, green beans, baked mac and cheese and sweetpotatoes. rolls and for dessert a pumpkin pie. My daughter was excited when I told her to set the table with my best china. we only eat on it for special occasions and sometimes we had tea party's with it. I dont get it out as much as I should because it is out of sight out of mind . I keep it in a cubbard in the dinning room. anyhow then we put the tree up and decorated it . I let the kids decorate the front porch and even though it looks like a child did it Im leaving it. Then we all watched some movies and I did some more online shopping. william had to go to bed early since he had to work today so i stayed up and caught up on my walking dead shows. I took lots of pictures since this was the babies first thanksgiving. It was just a great day spent with the family. we never get enough of those days.
Today Im working and was told we are working saturday which is ok I need the money but its hard to get that one day off then work 5 in a row when your so use to getting 2. I was going to work on blankets today but decided to just relax so hopefully i will get in the mood to get them done. What I really want to do is start wrapping presents. I love wrapping presents.
I did good on the food did not over indulge course i have a doctor appt. monday so that should be interesting to see where im at after 2 weeks.
