Whew...went to the Turkey Burn at my gym this morning. An hour of cardio and 30 minutes of muscle conditioning and core work...yikes!! I am sore and tired, but feeling good too. I haven't really gone to a tough workout class since March (I got sick in the end of March and ended up having my gall bladder taken out in May. Ever since I've had trouble with my lungs, eating, etc). I've just been doing the elliptical and walking the track at my own pace.
I was really afraid I wouldn't make it through the workout, but I did it and I kicked butt! Doing this successfully today got me over a huge psycological hurdle. I feel like I can go back and do real classes again without being afraid that I'll get sick or have to quit.
But for now...it's off to take a nap!
