Football day!

Friday, November 23, 2012

Watching our Huskers play against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Should be a good game. We are die hard Husker fans, but my family is from Iowa and they are Hawkeye fans. I love a little family rivalry!

Did well yesterday. I ate a bit over my range, darn Zingers, but stayed below 2,000. I also took an evening walk with the dog so I felt better. I was proud of myself as I didn't eat to feeling stuffed. I was comfortable and only had one tablespoon of most dishes.

My oldest said it was her "healthiest" Thanksgiving in years. She did eat a bit too much as she felt very stuffed and "urpy." However, she didn't purge so I'll take it as a successful Thanksgiving!

Keep Spark'n.

I'm glad everything went well with your family. Dinner sounds like a success - I managed to do the same, trying a little of most things but limited my serving sizes. Stayed within calorie range even though I tried a little pie and cheesecake. Loved the result of the Husker game - although it was UGLY! Hope they do better against Wisconsin.

First let me say, I miss you. Secondly, that is great prgoress for your daughter. This holiday could have really set her back or overwhelmed her so it is good to know that she is getting through this rough patch. Like you, I just got a half a scoop of most things and chose not to have others. I only had one plate, no refills and I left a little on the plate too. I did have two glasses of wine, a piece of buttermilk pie and a half slice of lemon pudding cake. But I felt good and satisfied, not stuffed. I also worked out two and a half hours that morning to accomadate the extra calories.
