Embracing Fitting Clothes

Friday, November 23, 2012

Maybe itís the fact that Iím not used to clothes fitting me properly. Maybe itís the fact that Iím wearing pants that actually fit today. I donít know, but all I do know is that Iím beginning to embrace FITTING clothes.

I realize this might not be rocket science, but for me, itís huge. Before, my clothes never fit properly not because I wasnít wearing the correct size but because my tummy was always in the way. Now that said tummy isnít in the way anymore, pants are fitting better and I FEEL better. Iím not as scared to wear semi-form fitting clothes because Iím more confident in the way I look. No more hiding, no more covering up with lots of layers. Itís time to step out there and be noticed!

Itís the little things in lifeÖ

Here's a way to keep things moving in the right direction since we all want to stay fit and motivated during the busy (and calorie-filled) holiday season by pledging to run at least one mile every day, Thanksgiving through New Year's.

Pledge to run/walk at least one mile every day, from Thanksgiving (that's Thursday, November 22) through New Year's Day. Track your mileage and keep it moving!

I know the feeling! emoticon Wearing baggy clothes for the past several months has really warped my view of myself. When you put on something that really fits, the physical feeling is so different and, the emotional feelings you feel when u realize the smaller size fits and fits WELL is so amazing!

Rock those fitting clothes, B! emoticon U have worked ur butt off for it and deserve every second glance u get! You are a gorgeous woman, inside and out! I am so blessed to be a part of your life!
    I emoticon you!

Good for you! I know my days of ordering the L, XL, or 1X out of the catalogs are over. I have to try on everything I buy, and I've become much more discriminating.

I totally understand what you're saying. I never wanted anything that touched my body, but now, I'm digging the semi form fitted look. And I think it's a HUGE thing = ) You look awesome!

That is so true! As the tummy slowly deflates it is amazing what figure is hiding under there.

I agree! I used to wear big clothes that were somewhat baggy. Now I'm weighing what I want and I'm in a healthy range, I love wearing fitted clothes. Not hoochy mama tight, but clothes that fit me and "show off" my figure. I used to wear a lot of t-shirts, but now I like fitted t's.

Isn't it a great feeling!!! I'll admit I like being noticed every now and then now!!

Keep up the great work! You'll only get better. Just remember that you are already beautiful!
