That’s right, no “Thanksgiving Eating Hangover” for ME baby!

Friday, November 23, 2012

I only went over my range by 206 calories AND I drank 10 glasses of water. It’s a friggin’ MIRACLE! This is probably the first Thanksgiving in my ENTIRE LIFE ever that I did not overeat. Seriously.

I feel GREAT today AND I have SNOWANGELDIVA to thank for that. I was in the right place at the right time and joined her “Christmas Present to Me” Team. Today instead of feeling remorseful, depressed, defeated, hopeless and bloated, I am looking forward the rest of my long weekend with excitement. Thank you Liz!

The secret for ME is to plan ahead. I tracked my food in advance and allowed for some pecan pie because this is the only time of year I will get it and I love it. I ate a high protein breakfast of 2 eggs, onion and soy crumbles so I was not starving when I arrived. I was also smart enough to KNOW that it was simply too dangerous to bring any pecan pie home, so I refused it. I took home salad instead. Go ME! emoticon

Pecan Pie should come with labels.
    Just sayin'.

Way cool that you had a milestone victory over the holidays, now you know you can. Excellent work on prepping for the day. It saves so much sanity.

The team being a blessing to you is wonderful, so know that this camaraderie is working both ways.

If didn't have our team to feel accountable to this week I would've petered off into my quiet emotional box of hopelessness and buried myself with food.

I came close, but, I didn't let myself choke hope...that's pretty sweet for me.

So, Thank you as well my emoticon emoticon
