My last post was apparently 134 days ago. Since then, I've quit tracking my food intake and logging my exercise. I'll blame school and the tough physical therapist assistant program I'm in. Somehow, learning how to become healthier took all the time away from me being healthier.
I did walk the half marathon again with my son, but we'd quit training for it months before. We suffered for it with stiff muscles for a few days. I did a charity walk a couple weeks ago in flip flops, too. And suffered blisters. I worked four weeks in a hospital for school and that did more to get me in shape than anything. But that's over and I'm about to go back into the classroom for six weeks.
I've become too nonchalant about it all and must get serious again. After all, I turned 50 during the interim. The fat rolls are growing again. So, new goals for me. More discipline, less excuses. It's having an impact on my son, too. He's back to sitting in front of the computer with all his free time.
