Good Thanksgiving...

Thursday, November 22, 2012

Cooper and I walked 9.5 miles today on two walks. I didn't take my short midday walk, but it was okay. It is supposed to start raining in the morning, then turn to snow by Saturday. According to my dad The Weather Channel is forecasting colder than normal temperatures for the next 3 months, so it was good to take advantage of the nice weather we had this week.

Thanksgiving dinner was tasty. One of my brothers was missing as he drove my niece to her mother's today. I ate more than normal again for dinner tonight, but I am still within range for the day. I will get back to my normal routine tomorrow. It was worth it all in all. I even have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I packed them up myself, so I only took what I could fit into my normal eating plan. I didn't take any pie or mashed potatoes, but plenty of green beans and soybeans. Some of the family was kind of cranky this evening, but I figure that is their choice and I don't need to take on their crankiness. I focused on the food and Cooper. That is a terrific combination!

If it isn't too cold and wet I will walk with my friend Tricia tomorrow morning. Her back is finally feeling better, but not quite good enough for running yet, so we have plans to walk.

Glad your day was good. So was ours. Our Turkey and dinner was good and we watched three movies and just relaxed.

That is great that animals don't get cranky as much as people!
