Thanksgiving at the Los Angeles Mission

Thursday, November 22, 2012

Like most of us, I enjoy giving back during the holidays. I wanted to share my experience with my Spark friends. This was especially nice because my daughter Brooke joined me. It brought me back to my days of working soup kitchens alone with my three little girls.

This sweet little one never got in but I managed to get him his own tarp making his owner very happy since they did not get in for their meal.

Brooke passing out pie.

Eye Candy for us Ladies.

Passing out dinner.

Folks got more than a meal, they got gifts as well like these heavy duty high quality tarps donated by Tarps Plus.

The most incredible thing is watching the happy people enjoy their meal and gifts. I was continuously thanked for my help, but the gift was all mine.

I am so grateful for all of my blessings and thank you too!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

What a great way to spend Thanksgiving. I've wanted to do this over here at Christmas, but have been unable. Maybe this year

You are such a good person helping out like that. That's great Brooke helped out this year. Such a beautiful dog. Loved its eyes. Is your hair darker?
