Counting all my blessings today. I give thanks to sparks for all the wonderful friendships that I have made. This community is wonderful and so supportive. I contribute so much of my success to sparks. I hope and pray that all of you that celebrate Thanksgiving(and those that don't) have a terrific day today.
We woke up early this morning to the sound of many cohetes(fireworks). We also had them up until late last night. Yes, this is the noisy season here in Mexico. For the next month we will have the early dawn and late night cohetes as the Mexicans are celebrating many things. In particular it is our little village's patron saint, Saint Andres celebration for two weeks. I often wonder when the Mexicans sleep. If you do the math with the late night and early dawn fireworks...there is not an eight hour time frame for sleep....so I guess the Mexicans don't pay any attention to needing 8 hours of sleep. I have a system where I go to bed and read early and then the minute the last fireworks flare I go to sleep knowing that I will wake again for the early morning ones. I am so used to it now that it is no big deal.
Happy Thanksgiving to one and all! Have a terrific day.
