Been a while since I last blogged. I was exercising and had to be careful because of back and neck problems owing to MVAs, the most recent one being Mar 7/12. I was working with a kinesthiologist but was not comfortable with her level of expertise as she was giving me exercises that were not good for my back.
After an increase in back pain, I dropped the weight machines and her help. I was just doing the recumbent bicycle, stretching and walking. My lower back pain increased until I felt like I was being sliced in two and the pain travelled down my left leg to my knee and sometimes to my foot. Exercising came to a halt.
Luckily, my physio had returned home; he had been away the past 8 months teaching. New plan is to settle the unstable irritated back and work with his kinesthiologist doing a pool routine. Working out on land will have go wait a bit. I am SO GLAD Erl is back. He teaches all over the USA and Canada because he is really good. He is the only person I trust with my neck/back as I have had his help through 3 MVAs dating back to the late 1980s. If I do what he tells me my back improves. Wish I could skip the chronic pain but accident 3 cemented that condition. None of the accidents were my fault; I think I have a bull's eye on the rear end of any car I drive. lol
Thing about working out in the pool is that I am obese and really don't want to be seen in a bathing suit. Well, I guess I will have to get over it. Other pain is leg hair; time to make an appointment for leg waxing. The things we females do to fit in or rather not stick out too much.
