Pictures Of What I made For Thanksgiving And My Eating Plan

Wednesday, November 21, 2012

What I made to take to MIL`s for Thanksgiving....Cranberry bars

And Pumpkin Bars....for when we go to my friends on Friday in PA.....

Just thought you would like to see. I have an eating plan for Thanksgiving. I am only going to eat my favorite things, skip the mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole and gravy, you know skip the stuff you could have any day of the year and go for the once a year stuff. And with the calories I will save by not having to have everything, I will probably have room for a small dessert, maybe pumpkin pie but skip the crust.
Have a great thanksgiving!! emoticon

Good for you...that is what I do when I eat out...why buy things that you have all the time or like to make at home. Hope you had a nice time! Have a nice weekend!! emoticon

Those goodies look wonderful, amd so do the photos! Your plan is pretty much the same as my plan, but I'm going to have to have a "taste" of everything (a fragment, mind you), so as not to offend DIL and Bill, whom I talked into making this incredible paleo stuffing.

My plan is to cut down on the number of different dishes I prepare - stick to the standard family favorites - and then enjoy a small portion of each, filling up on the raw veggies and turkey, and eating small amounts of potatoes, stuffing, gravy and pie. After the meal is finished and kitchen cleaned up, I'm going for a walk!

my sister lost 105 pounds walking 15000 steps a day at age 63.

i lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 60.

i use a salad plate as a dinner plate.

i use a childs for and spoon so i eat slower. it takes your brain 20 minutes to tell your stomach your full.
