Eventful morning- spent in the ER with Mom

Wednesday, November 21, 2012

Got a wakeup call from my mom at 7 am. she had a rough night and she thought she should go to the ER to get checked out. Bless her soul, she waited to call me until 7 am so I could sleep in. This started at 3 am. Rushed to her house and away we went to the ER. Thankfully the hospital is only a mile or so away. Spent the morning there with test and such and waiting and waiting.

Turns out they theythnk she was constipated. Got a prescription and home for her to dress and the we filled the prescription and grabbed a quick burger at McDonald's. She was so hungry. Brought her home and she is all situated now so things are good, She feel foolish to have called me, but I really felt we needed to get it check out in case it was her heart. She has a pacemaker and is 90 years old.

Home now and sparking fast since I have to go to work now. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Whew- what a day!
