Tomorrow is Fat Thursday or Thanksgiving as others would say, and that is when Im going to kick myself in the butt and eat smart. I have to keep the food traditional or else the babies will whine. Im going to grab the small plate and do ‘sample’ portions. Im also going to wait 20 minutes before getting another plate, if Im still hungry. I am also going to drink a lot of water while I’m cooking so my belly will be already half full. My dad is going to be taking home a lot of the leftovers so that’s going to help me out.
I really need to get more active! I have lower back issues so I need to keep reminding myself to take it easy. I want to start out with walking more and stretching. Then Im going to add in yoga, pilates, and upper body. When I feel like my back is a little stronger Im going to add in lower body and core. If I stay focused and stick with it for a month then it will become a norm for. I need to make a list of exercises that I should do if I have a cold or if Im just not feeling well.
If I keep this up, the exercises and watching what I eat, I should be at 200 on January 1st. I need to make a few different lists of goals and a poster to remind me every day when I get up why I need to get healthy.
