My brother was in town this weekend and we had a big family dinner on Sunday. Now I have Thanksgiving dinner for 12 looming over me and I'm feeling the time crunch! I've been sleeping very poorly (partially due to worrying and partially due to the continuous loop of Fiddler on the Roof songs running through my head after seeing the play on Saturday!) and it finally caught up with me. I had planned to run this morning, but when the alarm went off at 4:20am, I just.could.not.get.up. I figure at this point, sleep is just as important as moving my body, so I opted for the extra hour and fifteen minutes.

On the rare mornings that I skip my run, I usually regret it right away and feel pretty crummy all morning. Not today. I think that's a sign!

So I'll work today, have a run afterwards, and this evening's agenda includes baking a punkin pie and making my mashed potatoes for tomorrow. I'm hoping for a full 8 hours tonight (whatta concept!) and hopefully I'll be back on track for a busy weekend :-)

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
