So I had found these great recipes for the holidays in a magazine... said hey will make these for pot luck at work... Yes I know I should have looked for healthy.... but here I am making these great cute litte desert type cupcake/pie recipes.... then as added punishment I of course must 'try" some.... well I made apple pie ones an pumking pie ones with cream cheese. Made myself one of each..smaller version of course because I needed to try them. Here's the verdict.... Gross...after not having had sugar in a few weeks it tasted like I was eating sugar straight out of the bag.... I am sure they are yummy just very very very very rich and they overwhelmed my taste buds. I am proud to say that after just a few bites I threw out the remainder of both of "my" treats. I added them to my daily intake and I hope I added them as higher in cals than what they were worth. Now yes I did taste the frostings while I was making but I think the cals that I added are correctly reflected. But yuck what a waste of calories...now I have to forgo my yogurt with cinamon pecan cereal with half banana with cinamon and splenda.... now that is giving up taste.... and yes getting exercise kicking myself in butt.....
