what motivates you ?

I started this weight loss journey to lose weight but no I am focused on improving my physical skills. While I would like to look as I did in my 20ís it is more important to physically fit. I was having aches and pains which scared me. What was going on? Now that I am committed and doing the exercise, the aches and pains are no longer present. Being physically active will benefit my health, emotional and physical. What happened?

I know I started with the number on the scale being the main focus and signing up at the gym for the short term to meet that goal. I too have found that there is so much more than the number on the scale. Isn't great to have some of those aches and pains lessen or even disappear. I am so much less stiff when I go to get up. My focus has shifted from the number to being fit. A detour I could never have planned for but I am loving it now that I'm there. You're obviously doing the right thing focussing on your physical and emotional health. Good for you. Keep on the journey, I'm sure there'll be more surprises and learning in store for you and me too.
Thanks for sharing you thoughts in this blog.

I have found when I began to lose weight and exercising, some of the problems I was having vanished. I think we have to focus on being the best we can be at any age. I think your on the right track. Keep working out and following your eating plan. You'll make it.
