7 Fighting a cold

Tuesday, November 20, 2012

The beaver act went very well - the inspectors from echo-tourism seemed amused and impressed and hopefully we will get accepted as a echo-toruism-company that will strengthen our brand and market us among environment-interested people...

The costume is very warm so I did not feel cold during my walk int the woods, on the contrary I was sweating – but afterwards I started to shudder and now I feel like this cold cant be stopped although I have tried boosting it with Echinaforce. My experience is tah a cold can be stopped if I start ising echinae before its grip has fastened... but maybe not this time. he good thing about having a cold now is that it willsuerly be over on my birthday show, the bad thing is that I have a lot to do at work and also with preparations for the party and if I have to postpone that it will all have to be done next week and I would like to avoid that.

I´ll go for some hot "glögg" - sort of gluhwein but it is nonalcoholic, some aspirins, a lot of fluid and bed...

I have found that when I start a cold to eat TONS of greens with at least 1 1/2 tsp vinegar on each plate of greens (at least 2 large plates of greens a day). And, STAY OFF THE SUGAR. Sugar severly lowers your immunity and ability to fight a cold.

I have actually experimented to see if it did indeed make a difference. Eating sugar ALWAYS worsens the colds; Eating greens and very healthy other foods ALWAYS makes it quickly go away. Time after time I got these results.

Before this experimentation I was always a person who always spent a couple of months with bronchitis when I got a cold. And, then antibiotics. Now I can really control them. Literally like turning a faucet on or off (pardon the pun). The hardest part is staying away from sugar and bad foods when I feel so awful and feel more drawn to them.
